Uwharrie Trip May 25th/26th

Should be all good! I will go ahead and get the days off

I am going ahead and setting the dates for the 25th/26th, so people who want to go can plan. The plan is to arrive Friday evening set up camp and hang out for a bit. Wait until dark and then hit a few trails during the night. Camping the night and getting up and riding a few more trails on Saturday. I hope you guys can make it. I will start a list on the 1st post of people who are planning on going.

1) Brian & Adrienne (camping Friday night)
2) Madtoy (Saturday at least, leading a night time bigfoot hunt)

You can put me down for Saturday at least. Won't know about the camping till we get a bit closer. However if we do a night run, I would like to make it a Bigfoot hunt! :-)

Yea, put me down for camping and staying Saturday.

I watched a few episodes of "Finding Bigfoot", so I'm all prepared in what we need to do to find him.

Did you watch the one film at Uwharrie? Adrienne knew girl on the atv that saw bigfoot.

I missed that one. I was watching the marathon waiting for that particular episode but didn't.

Recruit the girl. We'll need to know which area to search. Or we could just stick Casey in a Bigfoot suit and get some night time videos....

I like this idea. We could make it on tv. I can do squatch call.

Yeah, when are people showing up, I'm sure ill be able to leave work early

We haven't set a time yet. Was going to wait and see who all was going Friday night. I was thinking around 7 or 8. Anyone planning on camping Friday night, throw in your opinions.

I will probably be at the Outpost around 5 on Friday.

I am still not sure of when I will be out there, but I am pretty sure it will be later than that. Any thoughts about where to camp at? I have in my mind a spot along Wolf's Den. Away from the crowd might be best, but I have never camped along the trail there.

Yea spots may be slim, busy weekend. But there is a great spot on RockyMountain Loop, great for multiple rigs. But it is a choice spot and gets taken quickly.

That's why I was thinking Wolf's Den. Nobody wants it. We might have to have the early birds hold down the fort and send runners out to meet any one coming.

Yea I can get there as early as 3:30, and try to hold down the spot. But there will always be something available

This was the spot on Wolf's Den I was thinking of.

Hmm I can even think of where that is on Wolfs Den

Its about half way through I think. Its right at one of the few rock areas on Wolf's Den.
