Trip to Uwharrie in early December - DECEMBER 3RD

EARLY DECEMBER UWHARRIE TRAIL RIDE - DECEMBER 3RD
Meeting at the Outpost (I will be there around 9:30) and heading out around 10.

Trails on the ride - Saw Mill, Slab Pile, Dutch John, and Rocky Mount Loop trails. These are easy to moderate trails with bypasses around any of the real difficult obstacles. I am sure if time permits there will be a few willing to hit other trails.

Bring lunch. We will pull off along the trail to eat.

I would love to make another trip also. I am pretty sure I can do the 3rd.

im in..and I SHOULD have my wheels and stuff by then...so yes i am in for either or both days!! actually would love to do both..!!!

Unfortunately I'll be over there, but working the 1st through the 8th, then working at Bragg the 8th through the 15th, otherwise I'd be in.

I am in for any trail. I wouldrefer something with some challenge. Maybe not Daniels, but maybe yes...if we hit Kodak rock, I want to go up it this time instead of down.

Every one that has expressed interest seems to be ok with the 3rd. So go ahead and set it for that date. Meeting at the Outpost and heading out around 9 seems to be the standard. I look forward to wheelin with anyone who wants to join me.

I hate to be the pain...but can we push it back to like 9:30 to head out? If not, no biggie, I will get my butt up...

If I am able to join the earliest I can get there is 10am and i am very interested in being there. It will take me about 45 mins to get there.

There's no reason we can't push it back a little. My wife will thank you guys for the extra sleep! I know she sometimes regrets marrying an early bird.

If we could push this run to the 10th I could go... I have to work the 3rd though.

There were few people who couldn't go the 10th, so we went ahead and set for the 3rd. I think there might be few of us that might be willing to go both days. I know Mike already said he would be in.

This trip is scheduled for the 3rd. I have edited the original post to reflect this and the meet up time/location.

I'm inviting a friend who has a black 2007 Baja Edition FJ.

Good deal. The more the merrier. Right now it looks like there will be a good number of FJs (and other rigs) out there with us. Sometime after Thanksgiving I will start to put together a list of who all is going.

What makes an FJ a Baja edition?

I don't know exactly, but I think since he has the same gear as a trails team ed. that maybe its an earlier version of the Trail Teams ed. He's got the Bilstein shocks, mono color paint, black BFG ATs with black TRD wheels. But there is no TT badge on it so I thinks it may be that Toyota called the model with the off-road extras the "Baja" before settling on Trail Teams. ??? Maybe?? IDK.

I may see if I can make it. No way will I take the harder trails again, not that im scared.. it's only because it's my only vehicle and not yet paid off.
