My son will be home for Christmas from Colorado where he is in the Army and does a LOT of trail riding with the Military Jeepers group. I really want to take him out for some FJ trail riding. He is scheduled to get home Dec. 17. Any ideas where we can go? I think we may just miss Uwharrie by that date.
Here is his XJ after a recent build out testing the flex...

How long is he in town? What kind of trails are you looking to run? If you head west you'll more than likely be wheeling in snow.
I'm planning on wheeling windrock in Jan, if he's in town around then you're welcome to join.

I'll be welcome to show a small group around Windrock sometime in Dec. But if there's snow on the ground it will be rough.
There's really not much to chose from in the immediate area that's available in the winter months, especially since Mtn City is closed.
