Uwharrie Trip May 25th/26th

okay so i have a question.... i have the OEM preditor step bars on my fj, and i hade them on last time i went to URE and i am wondering, since they really dont do anything as far as pretection if you think it would be best to just take them off because they take that 3 or so inches of ground clearance from my rig..... what do you guys think?

Try taking I-485 to Hwy 49.

I-85 exit 42 (this is the I-85 connector) to Tryon Street to University City Blvd (this is hwy 49)

I would take them off. I think they could do more damage than good.

yeah that's what i was thinking too, plus i dont want to beat them up to bad, i'd like to sell them..

We tried taking 485 to Hwy 49 last time and it didn't work out to well. I will look for exit 42 University City Blvd / Tryon 49

I85 to exit 68. Make right and take to 52. Make right on 52 and take to 49.

Exit 68 is Hwy 152. It connects to Hwy 52 in Rockwell.

Nick if you go this way, you can shave off some time by bypassing Phiffer Univ and Richfield (my home town by the way). To do this, from Hwy 52 once you pass Gold Hill take a left onto Old Beatty Ford Road and then when it ends take a Right on Stokes Ferry Road. This will put you on Hwy 49 by the river. It will save 3-5 minutes, but most importantly keep you from hitting that 35 mph area.

Son of a B***h....it never fails...my moms car has been having transmission issues and she just got it back...and its still messed up..so instead of going tomorrow I will be taking it to the shop

2300 bucks to replace the torque converter and O2 sensor now its blowing a fuse in the panel...and it is like stuck in 2nd gear and wont shift..and the overdrive indicator flashes and wont go off .i was quite pissed I'm glad ill have time to calm down before i call the guy tomorrow.

sounds like they didnt do the job right the first time...

no but luckily it has a 2 year warranty and well its only been 2 days so..they will be getting a ear full

I just got back from Uwharrie... Met up with youngins at the camp site for a while then peeled out. I ran around falls dam down dutch john and out slab pile to wolfs den to the camp site.

The 285s make the berms go away... no more bumping the gas tank over the berms. My season pass is number 1100 this year. Im slacking, Im normally sub 100 boo.

Toby however is 0186
