May 12th Uwharrie Ride

Planning a day trip out to URE on the 12th, this will be a chance to mess with my E-Locker, as it should be wired by then. If anyone wants to attend, plan on running Daniel.

Plan to meet at the Outpost at 9.

Man, Id like to go but i'm flying up to NY that weekend..

I have tentative approval for the 12th. First, and probably only Saturday that we don't have a Soccer or T-Ball game.

It will be last minute decision for me. I am having a cookout the following weekend and depends on how much stuff still needs to be done. If I can make it, the 9 am start time is good for me.

Dang I wish I could go, but I've already been issued marching orders for that day from the boss lady.

I too will be out of town this weekend.

Hmm.... Casey mentions Daniel, and everyone starts chickening out.....

I think I am in. My plan is to take care of most of my chores this weekend. If I can't make it, I will be heading up there Memorial Day weekend.

p.s. Casey won't have his e-locker in. He has been saying this for months! Its all a lie to make him sound more like a hardcore wheeler. If he actually had an FJ, he would have won the Mall-Crawler award.

Also there is a good chance my CV will break out there, I can hear it making all sorts of noises. Luckily I keep 2 with me and the tools to change it out!

I keep a front axle with me and tools to change also..... Hopefully wasted my money on all of it.

Well I take my cell phone and will call you guys when I break down. Sadly I am no auto mechanic, but hoping to learn with this new hobby. Biggest regret of high school was not taking auto mechanics. That and not going out with a beautiful girl who wanted me to because she was too tall. How wise we are now.

Ya we'll be there boss man.

Hey guys, if anyone is interested Jami and I will be out there on Friday the 11th. If not, that's fine too, but thought I'd throw that out there in case anyone wanted to head up early.

Brian, as far as auto mechanics, you learn by trying! Great thing about this day and age is you can find instructions for doing most anything on the internet (not like when I was growing up). Not sure what you have for suspension, but I'll be picking up some UCAs in June and installing if you need to get together for an install day on anything.

Ok so I may have good news..its possible I can come riding but may have to leave at like 2 or so, so I can get back in time for my plans.

I would like to go, and I am off that Sat. But I don't think my daughter would be very happy if I show up at her wedding all covered in mud. The wedding is just a few miles down the road from there though. Maybe next time.

Looks like the weather is going to be absolutely freaking great! Mid 70's not a cloud in the sky. Probably one of the last cool weekend days of the season. Come on let's get some more people out here!
