Uwharrie Trail Ride NOV 10th

I know it is early, but thought I would go ahead and get it out there. This is Veterans Day weekend and the wife and I both have a 3 day weekend. We are going to camp there this weekend and will of course be hitting the trails! Feel free to join us.

I am sure we will camp there a few other times this Fall, but that will be a more spontaneous thing.

Bump for advance notice. Might be able to get some distant members to join us. It would be neat to have a large group or maybe a few groups. If you are staying at a campground, I recommend reserving at least a month prior. They can fill up.

I might be able to go. We have off school for veterans day too. It'd be nice to camp in some cooler weather.

Same as Jami...I'm a maybe depending on what kind of shenanigans pop up between now and then. I'll see if Gilbo would be up for it as well.

and a sleeping pad... definitely want some insulation under you when camping in a hammock in cooler weather.

Trust me. Nothing makes that hammock comfy enough for you to actually sleep through the night.

Dont know about their insulation or cold wx hammock, but I really like the Asym Classic I have.

Ya my eno hammock is more useful as a fire starter.

count me in! I went to Uwharrie yesterday and it was my first time offroading. I Just did a couple of the easy trails to get a feel for it but it was a blast! I would definitely feel more courageous with a group of people that know the trails.

Sounds good. We can hit any of the trails you like. Hopefully we will get a good group heading out there.

I'm going out this coming weekend to the Uwharrie Jamboree. I'm expecting it to be a parking lot.
