2013 NCFJ Spring Meet INFORMATION THREAD

Well the service light came on. Time for my 25,000 mile service. Only problem is the spring meet is this Saturday.

Problem solver --> Getting it service at Leith while I am at the event!

They asked if I was dropping it off or waiting. I told them I could find something to do while I waited.

thats funny...my service light is on too...but im past my 2 year/ 20K deal from Toyota!...be doing them my self now...

I called Leith Parts today and am picking up a new rear wiper blade while I'm there too. After 90k, I figure it needs to be replaced and it's a short walk.

Is there a running list somewhere of everyone attending the show??

I think mine was the 19th

Yeah well I made a deposit on mine in January of 2011. A long 5 month wait.

Ah yeah that's right! I remember that story!

Just looked back at my notes... I actually took delivery on July 19th.

I wish I could make it out to see everone but I will not be able to.

Wish you and the family could be there Bobby...we'll eat cake and hot dogs and win prizes and schmooooze all the nice trucks!!

Anybody still up wrenching? Just finished up what I could on mine,and am getting ready for bed .

That's dedication right there!! I gave up on cleaning mine up too much. For those of you that saw it last year, ignore me this year, I'm in pieces and dirtier. Thus is the life of a Toyota 4x4 that's loved...

Was anyone going to dinner tonight in the meet area?

I passed by about 6 to 8 FJs this morning on the freeway headed to Raleigh for my daughter's science competition. I assume they were headed to the meet. I felt insignificant in my stock FJ next to those guys - they were definitely some nice rigs.

Which way were you headed? There was a group of us headed to Raleigh from Greensboro and points west of Raleigh. There was like a dozen or so of us and I was the only yellow FJ in the bunch.

I was headed north on I-40. I believe there were three or more white FJs, a blue FJ or two, a kick Buh-tox tan colored FJ with camo sliders and even a 4 Runner in the bunch...no yellows in the group.

Whomever you guys are, please point me to your build pages...loved your rigs and I need some ideas haha
