2012 NCFJ Cruisers 2nd Annual Spring Truck Show - Meet and greet

The North Carolina FJ Cruisers have been approved by the Wounded Warrior Project as an official supporter and our spring truck show is now an official fund raising event!

PLEASE NOTE, THE RAFFLE IS OPEN ONLY TO CLUB MEMBERS THAT ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE SHOW, YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!! TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE SHOW ONLY. PRICE TBD

Your registration donation includes your "swag bag" +1 Drivers event shirt (BLACK)---> MUST HAVE BEEN REGISTERED BY MARCH 22, 2012 TO RECEIVE A FREE SHIRT One additional shirt will be made available for a very small cost to all drivers/trucks entered. These shirts will be a color other than black.


Definitions: Exhibitor - Compny or individual that will have a display setup at the event

Sponsor - Company or individual that will make either monetary donation to WWP, donate a prize for the raffle, which all proceeds will go to WWP, or company or individual that will donate funds toward the organization and planning of the show.

Per John@Leith: This is a preliminary list , other possible sponsors may be coming on board.Local media both print and television are in the works also. As soon as we have a show flier available, I need a copy so as to help in closing possible national sponsorship.

Trophies will be awarded this year in various categories

There will be a small entry fee of $10 for participants this year, which will go directly to the WWP as a donation - I will have more detals on how it will be paid and collected (more than likely in the form of a check so that you may be able to use this as a tax deduction.)

I'll be there again! We need to work on getting Stan with ToyOutfitters (NCFJ1) there as well since he's got some very nice products for the FJ.

Ryan, it is in the plans to invite Toy Outfitters as hopefully exhibitor and sponsor. I just need to talk to Stan.

I assume we're gonna try to caravan in again? I enjoyed the police escort and the looks of all the people in traffic watching us go by.

David I will try to put a Uwharrie run together for the 22cnd for anyone who wants to leave raleigh and caravan to Uwharrie and camp overnight and play with their trucks the next day.

Dont know if you want to incorporate the run into the event but if im going to be pumped about my truck for a weekend I might as well have fun with it for the whole weekend.

Just completed and sent the paperwork and filing fee to the Wounded Warrior Project foundation so that we can be official "Proud Supporters" ! Once approved, I will let you all know. The process takes 5-7 business days. I can't wait to hear back form them!!!

More updates on the show will be coming soon. We have a BIG event planned this year!

And for those that remember last year, we are still on for a Raleigh Police escort from our meeting place to the dealership!

We will be leaving earlier this year so we can make the escort. We missed it by a few minutes this past year.

All, I have added a poll to this thread so that when we, the truck show committee, go out and talk to vendors in the next few weeks, we will have some numbers to show them as far as expected attendance. So please take a monent and when answering the poll, consider the date, April 21st and the $10 entry fee donation in making your decision so we have as accurate information as possible.

Would you be interested in rustling up some other 120 based rigs. I know some more 4runner guys that might be willing to make the drive from TN and GA

This year I will be able to ride in the caravan! Can't wait!!

Let me gather more details in the coming weeks, then we can make that call. Thanks for the offer. I just don't want to present incomplete info to our club, let alone another group of people. I am being very dilligent is getting definitive details for us all.
