PRE-SHOW CONVOY MEET UP THE MORNING OF THE SHOW, USUALLY AROUND 8AM, SAKS FIFTH AVE, TRIANGLE TOWNE CENTER. (Raleigh PD usually meet us there early and have fun checking out the rigs... ) MORE INFO TO COME ABOUT EXACT TIMING.

***NOTE - BASED ON INTEREST AND RESPONSE, I WILL BE MEETING WITH AT LEAST ONE HOTEL (HILTON GARDEN INN) NEXT TO TRIANGLE TOWN CENTER TO TRY TO GET A BLOCK OF ROOMS SET ASIDE AT A DISCOUNT FOR NCFJ MEMBERS THAT WANT TO SPEND FRIDAY NIGHT OR SATURDAY NIGHT HERE IN RALEIGH. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IN THIS THREAD IF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN A HOTEL ROOM IF A DISCOUNT IS AVAILABLE.

Entry Fee: $10.00 Per Rig and at least 2 canned food items, although more food items are encouraged!
*Included in the entry fee will be ONE event t-shirt and ONE swag bag (just like last year)
NOTE: THERE WILL BE A DEADLINE FOR PAYMENT OF THE ENTRY FEE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE T-SHIRT!!!

There will be porta johns on site.

Raffle proceeds will go entirely to our designated charity.

Potential sponsors that we are seeking to participate include: (we will update this list with sponsor participation level as we get confirmation or rejection of participation)

John Desmond of Leith Toyota just informed me today that Leith Toyota has once again pledged to be the Primary sponsor and host for this years meet.

Some possibe changes are the addition/participation of Old North State Cruisers, and TTORA. Also we are looking at getting "on-air" advertising as well.

Items that will carry over from last year is Event T-shirts, Swag bags, music.

In light of Leith's generous sponsorship, entry fee is now in a "TBD" status.

Event will be either last Saturday in April or first Saturday in May.

We will be looking to get participation of a local hotel close to the event to offer an event discount on a block of rooms if there is enough commitment, so, if you would like to make a "day AND night" of the event, please let me know so I can gauge interest in hotel rooms.

More info to come as it develops.

Awesome... last year was bigger and better than the year before. Cant wait to see this years turnout, especially with all the new faces!

3. ONSC is made up of alot of FJ 40's, and at least 1 FJ45 as well as other cool rigs

4. TTORA also has alot of great people and rigs, and it will give all of you "real off-roaders" a chance to swap stories with fellow "hard core" wheelers.

Shooting for over 100 rigs this year!

i think its a good idea to have the ONSC and TTORA join us...different catagories and vehicles give everybody something to oggle...gonna be a great time...really glad that Leith is able to host this..

I apologize in advance to Leith, but there is gonna be a rooster tail this year. The S/C needs to breathe

LOL...good of you to apologize in advance...but first you have to make it across the street....

I am definitely looking forward to this again. I don't get to enjoy my FJ near as much as I would like with my son progressing so well in soccer, but his last game for spring is mid April. I wish I could get out there more than once a year.

I agree with Mike! The bigger the better. Also glad to see the possibility of the entree fee being lower I'd like that not to be the reason people don't participate.

I like the idea of the overnight stay too. Maybe do an NCFJ Cruisers only dinner that night.


Note: I will be going for the coveted "Best Mall Crawler Award" this year. I have some goals set to accomplish by this years show.

As long as the date works out Southeast Overland will be there. Shoot over to us some vendor info when you have a chance.

Any discussion yet about firming up the dates? I've now got plans mid-May.
