Is that diesel smoke up on the hill in the pic? Looks like someone is currently shredding the hill? Did you call the Law?

I'd love to go the 23rd. Anyone who wanted could camp. I have 2 acres about 6 miles down max patch road from the end of hurricane creek. We have a fire pit and some nice level camping spots.

Just saw it on the Facebook page. Sounds like they plan to meet at 9am at Bogarts in Waynesville, then go from there. Also something about dinner afterwards. If you are on the FB maybe post up the camping info there?

The wife has said she wants to go. So my wife is telling me she wants to go wheeling two days in a row, it is my duty to oblige her. All I need is for one other vehicle to go.

I will be in Charlotte at 12 tomorrow. If you want to wait till then I will go with you

That might be a little too late. That would have us hitting the trail around 2. I dont think it will be a lasting accumulation. Hoping to go while it is snowing. Could you go straight there and then Charlotte on your way back. Seems out of you way to go to Charlotte and then Lenoir.

Richland road is pretty easy. Any 4wd drive could do it. Probably a lot of 2wd too.

It is a 2WD. A lovely torsion bar / leaf spring 2WD. Should have gotten the Jetta.
