The Official 2013 Snow Day Richland Road Trail Ride

I am starting this thread to see who is up for a snow day trail ride on Richland Road. This is kind of a "build it and they will come" thing. Sooooo, if we get ready for it, it will snow. There could be little notice. Meet up would be in Lenoir at the Walmart 10:00am. So who is with me?

I do believe I would be interested

I'm down as long as I'm free. Only plans I have is the weekend of the 26th. Which everyday up til then is high 40's so no real chance of snow!

im in...but if its 40s here it will be colder up there...problem is unless you get into the really high elevations it still may not produce any snow...
i would say that if it indeed snows in Boone...then there is a strong chance...but no guarantee...

Yeah that was why I looked in Boone knowing the drastic difference between here and there!!!

No pessimism aloud in this thread. It will kill the snow.

If it snows I will be there. I check the weather for Lenoir every week

it actually would totally depend n the fact if it snows at my house...no snow here (unless its a weekend) and i cant justify a trip up there with the wife...she would have a fit if i just laid out of work to go ride in the snow...not to mention i would have to lose money from work...

but it will snow!!! IT JUST WILL!!! ...

I'm in as long as I'm not at URE running Studs through the woods, and there is a measurable amount of snow actually on the trail!

Will this be a Saturday or Sunday run or any random day it snows?

I can't control the snow. If its a big snow there might be a day or two to play with.

Well what would you do? You'd have to skip out on teaching for a week day. And BE-LEAF me I would tattle

I'd certainly be in if I'm available.

If it's a weekend, YES I would like to make this work. Unless I'm at Hurricane Creek doing it (my first ride in an FJ was with Jami going up Hurricane Creek in the snow, Nov 2010!).

Oh, and if you want me to see this, better post it on facebook lol!

If it snows enough, school will be canceled. So any day of the week is good for me. And if I don't get to go, it will be ok. Someone here should be able to enjoy it though.
