Richland Road Sunday October 28th

I'm still planning on it - but won't know if we'll do the 105 part of it till we get to the end of Richland.

FYI - looks like a high of 48* on Sunday in Blowing Rock, so dress appropriately....

got a question for all those going on this ride...

what are we doing for lunch? stopping along the way ? or eating after? or what??

My vote is to bring lunch.

Alright everything is a go here. I will see you guys tomorrow. I'll probably get there around 9:30 for any early birds. We need the extra time to feed the littlest one and pee breaks to be ready to leave by 10.

Weather isn't looking too good now in the Blowing Rock area tomorrow (unless your name is Brian). Looks like 50% rain tonight, and throughout tomorrow. Gonna have to check with the boss to see if she's willing to still go. Could be quite miserable if we can't get out and stretch every so often, or take in the sights.

Well lets make the call tonight. I won't be upset if we cancel it. Just don't want to get up early if I don't have to.

Plus in Boone there is always a slight chance of some kind of weather. I'm still down regardless

If this was a trail ride I would be all for the rain! However I convinced the wife it would be a nice slow easy ride through the mountains looking at foliage. We would have both our little ones with us. I'll look at the weather and see what my wife's thoughts are a little later.

This will probably be the last time for Richland road for me. Well until it is calling for snow!

just read all that is being said...wow...a little weather is gonna stop you folks?? i remember the last time we went it poured for about an hour...made the ride much better...i dont know when the next time i will be able to go ive got alot of weekends filling up so i really hope that this ride is gonna happen....but i need to know soon and its almost 8pm now...
