| Richland Rd is only about 2-3 hours. Would you guys be interested in doing the Brown Mountain OHV Park trail as well? Just a thought, depending on how much wheelin you guys wanted to do. I would say the Brown Mountain trail is the same difficulty level as Richland Rd. |

| How does this sound?
Meet at the Walmart in lenoir and roll out by 9:30. Run Richland rd, grab something to eat on our way to brown mountain, and play around there. Those who want to head out can, and the others can go camp. |

| Meh too far away for not enough action. Only reason I could justify going is to enjoy the foliage which is no where near ready.
But we need to plan a fall trip to Bumpass or Richlands
And I need to figure out my Elocker

| Not my take at all. As long as you stay on the road itself, seems to be legal. However if the mods want us not to talk about it here, just let us know and we can do it elsewhere. |

| Richand is a legal state road there is 0 reason for us not to talk about it. Some dumb reds that probably don't even own the property are probably the one bitching. In the mountains they all say they own the property. It just means they are trying to keep people outta there so they can hunt or make shine or grow pot. I kid you not they probably have a still out there. | |

| Here is my official opinion.
1. Stay on the road. DO NOT veer off it at any time for any reason. Avoid the illegal "playgrounds", obstacles, hillclimbs.
2. Post only info and pictures/video of the ROAD. All illegal pics/vids will be deleted at Moderators discretion.
3. Avoid ANY confrontation with any local landowners. Please, if the situation arises, be friendly when confronted and avoid any displays of bad character.
4. Avoid any creek play all together. Cross creeks/streams only if it is directly across the road. Also, if there is another way to cross a creek, for example, a bridge, you must use that option rather than cross through the creek.
5. ALWAYS leave the road better and cleaner that we found it. Remove any trash that you find.
6. Avoid damage to the road/land. Please do not cause ruts, do not spin out or harm the terrain in any manner.
I feel if we adhere to ALL of the above, and having been told by numerous resources that the road is still a state road, although no longer maintained by the state, that we can ride and discuss this without issue. If issue arises further, I will be sure to keep everyone advised.

| Thank you David b. This sounds like a fair way to tread lightly, and add to the longevity of Richland. I am excited about the ride and plan on adhering to all the rules layed out above. | |
