| I have a 20 pound co2 and arb compressor. Airing up won't be a problem. Also if you haven't done the vsc hack, unplug the 2 wire harness on the brake master cylinder. That way you don't loose traction and bury yourself. Little tidbits from our padre national sea shore trips. And to let people know driving on sand increases your transmission temps. Don't be alarmed if the light comes on. Just pull over and let it cool down. This happens alot in Texas ans the sand is like a big reflector. | |

Thanks for the advice. Ill look on the blue room for a write up and/or some pictures. How does disconnecting the VSC effect (if at all) regular, every day driving? Is it something that should only be disconnected when offroading?

| Ok all.....I have Nick, Rolando and myself as having reserved rooms....
I need the others that indicated that they are staying at the hotel to let me know if and when you have reserved your rooms. Remember, there is a deadline to the group rate, so let me know as soon as you have a reservation.
To all those that are camping, there have been a few suggestions other than Oregon Inlet 9they apparently close for the season0.
Please let me know your plans soon.
Thanks!!

Is it something that should only be disconnected when offroading? For me its better. I know how to drive I don't need a computer causing the fj to freak out because I corner to fast or what not. I also run sans sway bars front and rear so I would get a lot of grief from the computer. Heck my wife prefers driving on and off road with out sway bars and the vsc off.

| Chances of us making it up there greatly improved today! Can't predict the future but atleast wheels are in motion now! Also, I'll be at Frisco camp ground if I make it, don't know about the runs(gotta hang out with the Bruisers some), but any evening get togethers I'll be up for. If we plan to head to okracoke to play for the day, I would suggest a dinner stop Howards! Amazing food, more than enough room for groups, and best beers on the banks! Just a good place for a dinner meeting. | |

| Ok, I guess I am giving up on the camping option. Sounds like all local campgrounds are closed during this time, unless I am missing something? I have a new tent, sleeping pad and woobie just itching to get in the sand. So dog will stay home and maybe the wife will come instead.
Booked my room at the HIX for 2 nights.
David, I somethings comes up and one has to cancel, what happens to pint glasses?

David, I somethings comes up and one has to cancel, what happens to pint glasses? Thanks for the update! Flushead also reserved his room as well. That makes 5 hotel reservations that I am aware of. Keep the reservations coming!!! As soon as i know arrangements have been reservered and confirmed, I will place the pint glass order.

| It is not time yet, but, when I have the glasses ordered, I will more than likely be taking payment through PayPal.
Before I place the order for the glasses, I will post the total per glass that is needed, including all fees.
If you do not have a PayPal account, you wuill need to sign up for an account. It is free to use to send money and you can send the money from your credit dard or bank account, although credit card is preferred. Where a small fee comes in is when I accept payment so I will figure that into the price (think .40 cents per $10.00 and calculate down from there).
Let me know thoughts or feedback.
Thanks
