Forum Logo contest

All, I would like to start a contest among our members to see who can come up with the best logo for our Forum. As you can see, I have been using our original logo, which is awesome, but does not quite fit the color scheme of the Forum banner. So, if you are creative and willing to help your group admin (me ), send me your best design in .png or .jpg format to dbronson_jr@yahoo.com. Once I receive enough entries, I will post them to a section on the forum along with a poll so all members can have a chance to vote. Thanks in advance!

I am actually thinking on this myself but I don't know if I can actually create what I am thinking about. I will give it a try though.

Whatever it turns out to be it would be cool to have a round vinyl sticker of it made for our vehicles. I will look around and see if i can get any ideas.

Is it possible if the FJ lettering is used in it's Toyota specific design that certain legal issues may arise? I know this is product related but didn't Brad from Ricochet mention something of the sort in a post on the blue room?

Good question... I am not sure on that one. Alot of FJ clubs use the "Toyota FJ" lettering. And John from leith even sent our current logo out for printing...maybe ask Brad as he is a member here now as well.

I think something non-traditional would be cool. I like the sticker Baja Rack sent me, where its just the letters. So many decals now are either a square or oval, it would be nice to switch it up a little. Just my 2 cents

I was trying to use the state shape and include NCFJ and also have the website url but my creativity is limited to windows paint. If this sounds at all like a good idea someone please take the idea and go with it.

Any luck guys? An ideas?

Here are some of the designs my guy has made for my club down here...



He Also makes all the event stickers for the Bruisers

The circle design is easy and cheap for him to cut out! I was getting about 20 3 in stickers at $2 each. BUT the more we order the cheaper they will be! I have another grafix guy here in FL that makes all my storm trooper stuff that might be a lil cheaper.....

..think these were 80 5 in stickers for $80, he said if i made 100 of them it would have only been $50 for them all!!!

The circle images can be made into badges easier, but with cutting and adding colors, it would take 50 badges to get them as low as $50 each

ANYWAYS send me some ideas or crappy photo shop pix, and I'll send them to one of these guys to pretty up!

I like the idea of using the home state as part of the logo.

Is this logo going to used for a site banner, vehicle sticker or both?

It would be used on the site and possible future truck stickers!

You don't know where I could find a high resolution copy of the current NCFJ logo do you?
