| 285/70 measure out to be about 33"....more like 32.7....285/75 measure out to about 33.8.....ish...kinda...here is a calculator....http://tire-size-conversion.com/....you can find these everywhere...and they will vary slightly from calculator to calculator....
315/70 17 ....34.4...............315/75 17.....35.6.....
Now also be aware that NOT ALL tires will measure the same...BFGs are different from Nitto and from Good(for one)year....you must also take into account the wheel size...

do i hope you break something? hell no...i have been there i know how expensive it is...but do i honestly think you will ...hell yes...just a matter of time..and that is my honest opinion..whether your in a conversation or not...its a damned forum...i need not ask permission to mention you or anyone...get over yourself...
What, now you're going to drag me into this?? The ground clearance was amazing down at URE last month! Actually, I know I'll probably break something and that's why I'm beefing up a few of the easy spots to beef up. I'm a creeper though and don't use the skinny pedal to get me over things. I didn't scrape the bottom on a single thing with the exception of moving a boulder with a slider. Before the 35's, I probably lost 5 pounds of metal from the underside at URE.

| yeah thats funny...and knowing that you will break something or could break something because of the size of tire...makes you "creep"...so learning your limits is a huge part of it... | |

| The people who were at URE the last trip I was out know I creep. It took me forever to get up the first ledge on Daniel but that is because I try to be more technical to avoid breakages. There is no problem mashing the skinny pedal all the time I just can't afford it. And if I were to ever run 35's, I would go LT first | |
