| Does anyone have a winch installed in their stock OEM bumper? I read about this in the blue room and became intrigued. I dont see a need (for me) for an aftermarket front bumper (more weigh=worse mpg, very expensive), but I would at some point like something to help me get out of a hole. The manufacturers they threw around were Rasta, Lucrum and The Toy Outfitters (out of SC). Some even have a 2" receiver you hook the winch up and unhook and remove when you dont want to carry around the extra weight. I was a little skeptical, but I have to admit, they look good and very clean. Any thoughts? | |

| I think Lucrum was the only one making them, and they are no longer around. The price of the Lucrum mount wasn't too far off what a winch bumper costs. Plus with the bumper you get the increased approach angle. There are some relatively light bumpers out there as well. | |

| Ooh, ok. Good to know. Thanks for the info. I contacted Toy Outfitters in SC and theyre still around but they dont do the stock bumper winches. They do, however, have a sweet looking front bumper that has a receiver so you can remove the winch when you dont need it. Looks pretty dang pricey though (go figure!!). lol | |

| Thanks David, here ya go The TOY Outfitters is proud to introduce a winch mount for those that wish too keep their stock bumper. The winch mount is built up from our tried and true bumper base that is used for our tube bumper design. The photos show a Viper Elite 12K winch with solenoid bridge mounted. Minor trimming of the center radiator support was required to fit this large winch. Most winches will fit with this design, no separate solenoid box required although they will fit as well. The winch mount uses the stock plastic bumper cover as shown, owner only needs to cut the front to accommodate the fairlead and 2” receiver. Winch mount will also work with aftermarket skids. Lowere grill left out for access to winch controls. Introductory price $550.00 plus shipping This item is on sale now. Units are built to order. If you combine the winch mount with the current Viper winch sale, take another $50.00 off the totalhttp://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forums/toy-outfitters/137056-viper-winch-sale.html#post2009852 Winch mount specs: Bumper base is ¼” plate attached to the stock front bumper plates (4 bolts) and also to the side of the frame ( 1 bolt). And 1.5” X 2.5” 3/16” wall rectangular tube. Winch plate is 3/16” plate welded to the main cross member and braced below 2” receiver welded to the bottom of the winch plate and the face of the cross member 1/8” steel bash plate protects the bottom of the radiator. Weight- 40lbs | |

| I have been contemplating buying your tube front bumper. It looks good and incoporates the receiver. |

| I'm with Brian and am still wanting your tube bumper. I'm guessing there's no chance you want to trade one for an ARB bumper huh? Your new product is awesome as well though, especially with the 2" receiver. | |

| Sorry, can't say that I am interested in an ARB bumper. I am sure that you would have no problems selling it though. | |
