but about those dates... can we get it pushed one way or the other?

Before was no good for Nick and after was no good for me. So went ahead and set that date/weekend.

If we wanted to do a Saturday instead, I might be able to do the Saturday before.

I want to go on a full day, the starting at 3 will not work for me. I prefer Fridays, but only if Skip will open the park for us aroun 10-11. I think weekdays work best for Brian (ASI). If it is to be a Saturday I could do the 23rd or the 16th.

Ok - The 22nd is still looking like the best day. Saturday before won't work for me now. Have a fishing trip in VA Beach that Friday and may not be back till that Saturday afternoon.

I did hear back from Skip. Here's his response:

"Yes I will open early on any week day. three requirements:

A phone call -no email- 2 days in advance that you are still definitely
coming 864 449 5698 (I live an hour away from the park).

At least 3 rigs.

And the fee is the same as Saturday admissions ($25.00 for the day)or if
staying the weekend then the weekend pass price. for groups larger than
10 there is a discount

Not sure you'll be able to camp at Gulches on Thursday night, since they won't open the gate till Friday for us - but I'm sure we can find someplace for you to stay to cut down on the drive a bit....
