| Brian, im taking it to a friends house tomorrow and see if we cant straighten it out enough to drive a distance...Chand and i had to pull the tierod off and turn it in about 5 maybe six turns...and we know that the cam bolts were WAY off...we could turn the rear A-arm cam bolt but couldnt get to the front A-arm cam bolt...so honestly we have no idea how bad it actually is...im just seriously wondering how in the devil it got thrown out of whack that easily....jsut a really weird thing actually | |

| that the FJ Cruiser is quite perfect to use as a fallout shelter...find your self a nice sized rock put one to two tires on it and climb under...it may not protect you completely but it looks cool...also can be used as a fall trap for zombies...just wait for one to climb under..and then back up quickly...smash their heads.... | |

| Ohhhhhh my back... appointment need to be made for the chiropractor on monday.
I have a bruise on the top of my head from banging it on the sunroof and multiple small bruises from rolling around on gravel.
Other than that I had a blast today. Ran from teh top of Daniel back to the double parking lot as fast as I think the 4runner can handle without having about 6" more suspension travel. I also got in a spirited climb up dutch john.
It was awesome to be able to run the trails so quickly. We ran all the trail other than falls dam and dickey bell between 10:30 and 2:30 and that included a mild hike down to look at the end of daniel and a mountain climb back up to the trucks.

| loosen both cam bolts on the lower a-arm. I bet with on a proper jack and not teetering on a bottle jack you can break the front one loose and adjust it inward. Then go get a new castle nut and readjust teh toe to the point where you can comfortably drive to an alignment shop. | |

of course this is well before my hard hard hard hit that i took to the front right tire...pulled it out of allignment really really bad...tires look like this.....I----\ way out of whack...Chad and i looked and looked and looked and found nothing bent...but the cam bolts were moved big time....so we will see... Looks cool Mike. I think 34"s are the perfect size for the FJ. Where did you suffer the hard hit? |

| Brian...chad and i were leaving Kodak rock from the top...and in the trail on flat ground with nothing around but a single rock on the right side...thats it ..doing maybe 8-10mph...hit the rock dead center of the tire...and i heard a loud TINGG...and that was it..
Totald...the 285/75 17 BFGs are equal to 34"..i also have 1.5" wheel spacers and 17"x8" wheels that have 4" back spacing with a -12mm offset they fit with very little rubbing unless they get stuffed hard in the rear...the front body mount chop MUST be done...

| Chad i could have sworn i took your finger off with the trailer hitch...and when you didnt even flinch i was like..."no way is this guy that impervious to pain"...and when you just nonchalantly just ignored it...i thought "great ..this day is getting BAD!!"... | |

| Sounds like fun guys! Mike how does the FJ feel running those tires power/throttle wise? Looks like A great size option just wondering how they run under stock gearing but that's another discussion. | |

| Bobby, the ride is actually very good...i have them aired up to 55psi...i tried 40, 45, 50, 55, 60. and so far i am more comfortable with 55psi...they are a bit loud and actually louder than the wind noise created by the front windshield, however i actually like the sound of these tires...they corner very well and i have experienced very little if any power loss..the only time i actually notice it is if im going up a hill and the speed limit changes...very very little power loss noticed...gearing off road is good still...the auto FJ is geared 3.73 and with these tires its fine...any larger a tire and i would definately be considering a gear change. Off road!! wow they are awesome...i LOVE LOVE LOVE them off road...they really work to grip...and i had them aired down to 15psi this past weekend...and i couldnt be happier...the side walls a bit stiff still and they will soften up a bit and that is when they REALLY will wrap themselves and engulf rocks and obstacles.... | |

| Great feed back and detailed response on the tires! I am really liking that size too!!!! I have always liked the KM2's styling and if i ever decide to put some M/T's on they might be the ones for me. It would be good to have 2 sets of tires though like you | |

| Just to put this out there I had to strengthen The from mounts where the cam bolsts go, or I should say keep them from bending the tabs out. I just drew a bead down the outside of the tab to the frame. | |

| sorry to hear about your damage to the knuckels. From your posts it sounds like there are some easy & less expensive fixes to reinforce this area, before damaging the knuckles. Do you think you could post a writeup with some pics in the garage when you are finished? It could very helpful to a lot of us & possibly keep us from having the same misfortune. | |
