I saw that a local Charlotte guy is selling an OME lift, trying to get $550 for it. Figured that's a pretty good deal, esp if you can avoid shipping:

Just have to keep in mind they are the HEAVY version. Will be stiff as heck on a stock or close-to FJ

Yes indeed! I've got the same kit on mine, but I have a TON of weight added... rides awesome for me!

all i see from the pics is that it is a piece of aluminum that looks to be machined in a diamond tread pattern. probably 3/16" maybe 1/4"...cant see how its actually mounted, and then attached to the actual steel floor. i would like to however know how its mounted, and why it is supposed to be so secure and better than the plastic OEM...just curious as to why it is in fact better...
