| Im going to purchase the popular coil and spacer lift. Im thinking about taking some pride in my vehicle and doing the install myself. Is a spring compressor needed? And any other helpful tips are appreciated. Is this lift easy to install? | |

| Does the lift come with a preassembled front strut? If it does no spring compressor needed, but if it just a coil, and spacer then you will need to add, I would seriously consider the old man emu 3 inch though as I jumped the gun and got a 2 1/2 lift with spacers, and I will be going ome asap. It is about 800 but the time I sacrificed it would've been better spent putting the right lift on. ome will ride proper, and have 3 different spring rates to choose from stock ride/heavy and expedition. Look up old man emu they also do arb bumpers and lockers money best spent in my opinion. Feel free to call or pm me (828)423-1440 | |

| The toytec is a spacer on top of the struts and new coils in the rear...as of right now I can't justify an expensive lift...maybe after I get the fj paid off | |

| This is the lift I have, and like it. I didn't install it myself though. |

| Nice wasn't trying to dissuade you. I just wanted to give you a heads up as I am wanting a firmer taller set up now. The spacer kit I got works fine, but I tow and wheel a bunch and tote heavy tools with me. The springs in the rear are super soft now. I get body roll that is not so much fun on the road. When I tow the front sits high because the springs in the rear are so soft. I don't want any one else to waste their time. I hear the toytec is way better than the zone kit I got. | |

| Its the toytec with the spacer and/coils...cant afford the other kit at the moment but I wanted a more level ride height....I will eventually replace the front with the OME coils and shocks to accommodate a bumper and winch | |

| Yep Mike that is the way to do it. Just undo the LBJ and you can jack up the LCA to compress the spring | |
