Windrock/Coal Creek Trip June 27th

My plastic crayon is halfway full. I should be able to afford the camp site.

Oh and with camping, two tents per site so split sights if you can.

And if it's not crowded then just grab two sites.

So what time are you guys planning to be up there Thursday evening?

I should be there between 1 and 2.  At least that's the plan.  Although it may depend on what time they let me check in to the cabin.  So maybe 3 if that's the check in.

Probably about the same time for us.

So, Brian's locked front and rear, running 35's, Nick is locked front and rear, running 35's, Larry is (I'm not positive but believe) is locked front and rear, running at least 35's, Tyler (I'm not positive, but believe) is locked front and rear and running at least 35's, Casey is locked front and rear and Larry posted, "tagging along will be a buddy out of TN with a Tacoma on 35's, a buddy out of OH with a LT'd Tacoma on 37's, and a few guys from GA TTORA. 

Southeast Overland did post he was just there on 285's and the rear locker/ATRAC, but listed a bunch of trucks that took a beating!

I am struggling with is a trip I should make or not...looking for some motivation!

Power steering pump is ON. Counting my pennies for gas money tonight.

Me and Casey are already splitting a campsite. I'm not sure who else is going to be camping.

We haven't gotten one yet. You just get one when you show up.

Starting to be able to see what the weather will look like. Appearing to be pretty dry!

Paul, lockers and 35's withstanding, I won't be tackling any trails that I wouldn't feel comfortable running with the 285's.  I'll have the wife and kids with me, and can't take chances I might take if I was solo.  We need to be able to drive it home after the trip.  I'm using this more as a scouting trip for when I can go solo.

I was also considering going on this trip but had the same concerns as Paul. But if Nick says its ok then he is liable right? Just Kidding. 
My only concern is not having any armor other than my sliders. Would that concern anyone?

I would be a little concerned with no skids.  Sliders look to be a requirement certainly.  I would just be worried about nailing my oil pan or transmission pan on a rock.
