| BTW it's been raining in Lenoir for the past couple hours and will continue for the next little bit. It will be wet, but not drenched, it's pretty light rain and the ground was pretty dry before hand.
Who has OBA if I wanted to air down?

| The trail is not terribly difficult. There is a creek run that is more difficult than several of the trails at URE. I think everything challenging can be avoided. |

| We had a really good time and enjoyed seeing and meeting all of you! I really thought the trail was awesome with some beautiful scenery. Lisa & I want to go back there for sure especially in the Fall! Also, I need to find out where we ended up at the end of the trail and what the best way back to Charlotte is from there or maybe next time go back down the trail to go out where we came in. It took a lot longer to get home and I was having gps troubles. Again, I really had a lot of fun and want to go back!
Madtoy, sorry to hear about your tires. Anymore info on what happened to them?

cant wait to do it again There's a actually another little cut off that has a real wicked hill climb. We got out to look at it the last time there with Larry - but we couldn't tell where it came out. Some other guys went afterwards and said it loops right back around, so we'll have to give that one a shot next time.

Madtoy, sorry to hear about your tires. Anymore info on what happened to them? They actually opened the Blue Ridge Pkwy back up, so when you get to the end of Sampson road (the road we aired up on), you just hang a left on the BRP, and it goes right to 321. I tried to buzz Brian when I saw they opened it - but had a terrible cell signal. I must have slit my tire somewhere in the creek, because the way it's cut, it had to have been in reverse. So that's disappointing since it would have been a slow roll that sliced it like that. Oh well - first time spending the extra money on tire insurance will pay off

| i think had you gone the other way actually towards blowing rock...you could have gotten on 321 south and gone that way.... | |
