Oh boy. Richland is a pretty tough place to keep 10 together, as there is really only one area that everyone can pull off to gather. Otherwise it's a long line caravan up a single pass road. At the stream run, we will have to keep guys at the back, and go in 3 or 4 at a time and wait for each group to exit back out (enter and exit are the same spot).

30% chance of isolated thunderstorms. What does that mean? I knew I should have been a weather man - you're right no matter what happens......

It will be tough. We might have to go in waves, but it will still get bottled up around the hills and creek run. Not being familiar with all of the vehicles going it is hard to say how much spotting might be needed. Maybe none, maybe a lot. Some people will possibly opt out of the creek run portion. A good ground clearance helps, as well as a little under armor. If I can get the time I might install my shock armor tomorrow. I can only hope my rear link mount doesn't take too many more hits.

Bring on the rain and mud!

this is what makes a trip like this fun...questionable weather, unfamiliarity of terrain, and logistics...should be a fun time!

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to resign from this trip.

A guy at work took off and I'm the only one that can fill his spot, so I am forced to work Friday night...and no way I can work 12hrs Friday night, go wheeling Saturday AND work Saturday night also.

Be sure to take some good pictures for me!

From Overland Warehouse, Radflo 2.5" coilovers, brake bracket relocator and 3" rear coils. From Icon, extended Icon VS 2.0 series shocks Cool

Too bad I wont have it for another week or 2.

This could mean a lightning out break and rather fast changing weather conditions with heavy rain and winds. Looks like it might happen around 1:PM on. I guess bring recovery gear, recovery strap, snatch strap, clevis shackles, ax, shovel and plenty of water and food. Anyone have a chainsaw just in case?

Oh yeah and where in the parking lot of Walmart do you want us to meet at?

The FJ is prepped and ready for the trail! Even put on the new shock armor. See you guys at 10:00. I will probably be a little early.

Yep. Hopefully everyone is a little early and we can leave right at 10. Looks like our best opportunity to get through without rain will be earlier in the day.

Rain Shmain. Anyways, I say the train rolls out no later than 10:10. We can bs on the trail. If we have to we can leave in shifts, the punctual shift and then the tardy folks. Very Happy

Bobby, last time we were expecting rain, no one had a chain saw. Don't worry, in my recovery bag I keep a hatchet!!!

With that supercharger I would figure you could make it to Lenoir in 45 minutes.
