The Official 2013 Snow Day Richland Road Trail Ride

Well I've got students scheduled to parachute into the Albermarle/Troy region Friday night, do a lengthy foot movement, then start operations Saturday morning! Should be a loooooong weekend, with plenty of wheeling, but in a government vehicle...and you know what they say about the difference between a government vehicle and my 4x4? There are places I wont take my 4x4! hahahaha!!!!

and a ton is 2000lbs in America....

ok damnit..i just found out i have a family function ...i was told about it a couple of weeks agoand just completely forgot about it...i am soo sorry...i was so planning on this...i was telling angie that we were gonna go to RR and she was like uhh uh....we have something to do that we cant get out of...

The weather for blowing rock is still saying snow all day.

Less than one inch is all I'm seeing

1-2 inches in Blowing Rock. Not even enough to cover the leaves...

Oh well - less in Laurens also, which means Gulches will probably be open

I am worried it might rain enough for Skip to cancel. Does he have a "hotline" to get closing information?

He's planning on being open. He'll update the site or Facebook sometime tomorrow.

well the city of High Point has prepared for the worst!! they have sprayed every road in town...the South!!!
