you getting a hotel room Hube???

It depends on the weather, as well as whether or not I have my dog yet. If I have the dog, I will probably camp, easier than finding pet friendly hotel.

My other option is just to leave really early. Like 5:30 early

guys go ahead an put me down for this...im 98% sure ill be going...but most likely be spending the night in the truck...jsut may not actually stay at the gulches...probably a hotel parking lot...LOL

Why do you guys want to camp in the parking lot? You guys go in together and get a cheap hotel room. Hot shower and warm bed/sofa/floor beats a cold vehicle any day. They don't allow fires in the parking lot.

I am having an issue that puts in a tentative spot. The rear end of the Runner is toast so it seems. I won't know for sure until I pull it this weekend. So hold tight

There's a National Forest just down the road...you can build a fire there.

Is smoking allowed in the park? Because if everything keeps falling apart I am going to need some stress relief.

Nope. It's a no smoking facility. It's also a no alcohol facility, but unfortunately you still see some of that.

Well I am still trying to make it, I will update the status of the rear end over the weekend.

If it's just worn bearings with not too much play I will let it go for now until I have more money to blow.

But I have a feeling it's a chipped spider, and I won't chance a long highway and wheeling trip with that

Sux, I hope they let you off...they're talking cutting all over time (OUCH!) and going to 32 hr work weeks (ouch!), in the mean time, in the past year we've gone from 20 instructors to 10, and from two 12 man Student Teams to three 18 man teams...I finish FTX's more smoked that the Stud's most time!

So do we have a head count for this trip

I am going to be there, I am just going to chance it on the rear end, it seems just fine.

I will be driving down in the morning as of now.

Getting a head count will be futile. Whoever is there by 10 is in. Any late comers will find the group eventually. Not many places to hide.

Might be slick again. Looks like a bit of rain during the week.
