| the easy trails are like the service roads at URE... any car can drive them. The hard trails are asking to eat body panels and the intermediate trails are just not long enough... It would be a fun place to take a large group of trucks though because everyone could ride something and still watch the more modded or more daring guys play. | |

How are the harder trails? Rocky?

| not terribly rocky... its mostly rutted sandy hills with roots and some rocks and concrete slabs | |

| I think you will have a lot of fun... the guys who arent so keen on possible damage might be a little less impressed. There is a lot of stuff I would try in a dual locked ifs truck with a pre mangled bedside. | |

| We have been to The Gulches quite a few times. There are plenty of intermidiate trails. We generally spend about 6 hours on the trails and then have had enough. I have taken my FJC up some of the tougher trails and only caved in a suicide door once while there. | |

| I have retired my FJC from trail duty, all the body work done and re painted.
My FJ60 has a front axle leak that will keep it off the trail until I tear it apart and replace all the seals. A regular case of "the shoemakers kid needs new shoes" | |
