Then I bought a welder and made a roof rack, rear bumper and tube doors!
Then the front bumper came off
Then I threw on the Tundra 231MM Brakes, pretty noticeable difference. I warped my old rotors in less than a month, there is not way I am warping these!
Stock puny brakes.
Tundra 231's!
Side by side
My most recent purchase was the Sport Hood, needs painted but was only 90 bucks!

Well done Casey!!! I was always wondering about the history behind your masterpiece!!! Thanks for sharing! And for being a Pre-runner, you wheel the crap out of it! Kudos to the driver!

Thanks David
-Chad, that might be a good option! I will see what the estimates will be for paint and then decide what to do.

That sounds great! I would like to hear some feed back on these tires. Good size too! This weekend will give you a good chance to wheel on them and drive a little bit on the highway.

Well my first thought, just from driving home with them is, they are not as quiet as I wanted them to be. My Treadwrights are so loud, I was hoping the MTZ's wouldnt be. But it comes with the territory! I can't wait to see how they do off road! They also balanced very well.

Pictures continued
These next two pictures give you an idea of how steep this hill is, it is nearly impossible to walk up! Problem is we are traversing it, not something you generally want to do, but we did it with no problem! Just really stressful
Traversing this hill was really stressful, suspension was flexed out getting a teeter totter effect
Finished traversing now coming straight down
This next one is one of my favorites from the trip, something about it
Posin'!
I think this shows the difference between the capability of a 2wd VS. 4wd on 35's
Thats all I've got

And the obligatory mud hole slam! Sorry for the crappy video quality, it was recorded in 1080p, I dunno what happened. The same video on my Facebook wall can be accessed with HD, if you so desire

Looks like you guys had alot of fun and learned a little more about your rig! How do you like the new tires now? BTW those are the Mickey Thompson ATZ not the MTZ. I still dig em though How was the event?

Oh okay yea they are the ATZ, well they have pretty aggressive side lugs.
The event was okay, honestly we really didn't see too many events. Just the tug of war at night when there was nothing else to do. Seemed like the mud races would have been neat, but we left.
