I have had my '07 sun fusion since March and love it!!! Speedrye, you have good taste my friend!

As do you! I've had mine since last January (coming up on two years now) and still love every minute of it. Of course, I could've picked up a cheaper habit like crack or something...

Or meth... meth is pretty cheap from what I hear! What made you pick a MT?

I hadn't had a manual transmission in over a year and was going into withdrawal. While vastly different than my BMW 135i was, it's actually more fun to drive. My wife's Accord and my Silverado just weren't cutting it anymore with their slushboxes. Needed my fix!

Gotcha! I didn't really insist on a MT. My FJ had all the right features, low low miles, and a great price. At first I was not so excited about a MT but after test driving it, it reminded me of how much fun it was!

I ended up driving to Baltimore to get mine, but it was the same thing for me. Great price, low miles, black with the manual transmission.

I will tell you what. I have said many times that I have more fun at 5 MPH in my FJ than I ever did hauling Buh-tox in my 02 stage 2 WRX.

So does this mean there are only 3? Come on 6MT's!!

Nah, I've seen many of the new members are driving manuals. I was really surprised at Leith earlier this year that there were only two 6MTs in the whole group.

I was there but got there late so I was probably a third. I wasn't parked in the long row with everyone else.

Yeah, I saw your truck actually. You were the second 6MT I was referring to (I know, I looked at all the trucks out of curiosity).

I was at Leith too and drive a MT but also got there kind of late.

What is your guys shift patterns? If I'm trying to maximize my MPG's I typically shift around 2k RPMs. My FJ has a leveling kit and 285's so it only slightly improves. Overall I only get about 210 miles per tank... pretty rough.

Man, I missed yours altogether. Half the time I shift normally around 2500 rpm and ease through the gears. The other half the time, I shift at redline in first and second then straight to sixth. I usually get 240 miles to the tank.

I generally try to ease through and shift between 2500 and 3000. I don't know my miles per tank... but I am pretty sure that I would like it to be a whole lot more!
