This has been put off for far too long! Time to show some progress. I got my FJ in July of 2012. 2010 Black 4x4. It came with 265/70R17 Goodyear AT's. Boaterspence's build IMG_0275_zpsb9c5ca1f

Mods were slow at first, actually nonexistent until September 1st when I took the predator steps off and installed a pair of OEM sliders. Went to Uwharrie the next weekend and had a successful time offroading for the first time ever. The mod bug bit and the addiction began Very Happy

I left the FJ alone for a while and went out on a couple trail rides with you guys. The stock FJ is pretty capable but as you all know, I wanted to do more!

Jump ahead to February when I ordered a lightly used Pro Comp 3" lift and light racing UCAs.

With the help of Speedrye, we got the lift on in about four hours. I didn't take many pictures of the install. Boaterspence's build IMG_0556_zps3b63ac33

The Pro Comp system is ok. It is significantly more stiff on the road and I was worried about how rough the ride would be off road. I have zero issues with it on the trail, it's the most bizarre thing in the world to me but I guess I'm ok with it. I would recommend Pro Comp for a budget lift.

No more than a day after installing the lift, I broke out the Plasti Dip and painters tape and started my next mod. Boaterspence's build IMG_0571_zps6dae740d

That is my build so far but there's more going on in the next week or so. Updates will be more timely from now on Rolling Eyes

Truck looks great! Couldn't help but notice the Jackson Kayaks sticker...didn't realize anyone paddled those anymore, haha
