We took an hour break to help get one of the FJs into drivable condition. We also did some trail scouting for the future. Rains hit us about 2:30.

I see...isn't Rebel Blvd the last trail we did with the slick downhill at the end? Is that where the damage was done? pics?

Yea thats the trail. The damage wasn't done on that one...but everyone did slide down it, it got slicker and slicker with each truck sliding down

That last drop/ledge could be fun with no brakes!

Yeah, and we had poor Adam with the All-terrains in the back! Looked like a luge from the winter olympics.

I'm still waiting to see some pis of it lol!
This was the FJ problem, on 56 I think it is? ...tie rod bend. It happens!
On a side note, after a little research it seems some Tie Rod sleeves may very well have prevented this. They essentially just make the little tie-rod lock nut into a 4" long pipe over the tie rod. (Not an FJ tie rod below...cant find any for it.) Or maybe it would have just snapped at the rack

Yeah, really great pics! Just wish it wasn't so far from URE or I would have made it after the night ride! Especially like the vid of Adams "slippery slope," knowing the vid just doesn't capture how steep it looks from the drivers seat!

Great pics! The one from inside looking down Rebel does a decent job of showing how steep it looked!.
