Lunch/dinner meet at Darryls restaurant, Greensboro, NC January 19th, 2013

I want to throw this out there for the local guys in or around the triad area but anyone is welcome to join in.
I would like to schedule a mid afternoon lunch/early dinner 1-3pm at Darryls woodfired grill in Greensboro, NC. The reason I am choosing this time frame is because of how busy this place gets plus if we have some daylight we can talk FJ's out in the parking lot. I can make reservations for any time that we decide on however day or night. All I want is to get us guys together to enjoy some great tasting food, a couple drinks, and some FJ talk. Wives/girlfriends are welcome but I do plan to leave mine at home if her and the kids will cooperate lol. Right now I am thinking on a Saturday in January and I am at the present time available on any Saturday in January.

If you have never been to Darryls you are missing out on some great tasting food. I especially like their pulled pork sandwich, fish and chips, texas roadrunner chicken, and they have some great tasting burgers as well. Check out the website click here

UPDATE

The date has been made official, we are going to meet on January 19th, 2013 at 3 pm. Everyone planning to attend can begin arriving as early as 1:30. I plan to be there at 1:30 to meet and greet all who arrive. Our reservation is for 3 pm so we will start to head into the restaurant shortly before 3pm. Most likely we will have to park in the back parking lot since it is the biggest area. I have attached an aerial shot from google maps showing the restaurant and the parking area. The red lines are designated to the two possible entry ways into the parking lot. The second entry is between Smokey Bones and Darryl's. The yellow circle and yellow line are just indicators for where we will most likely have to choose to park.

Sounds fun! Me and my girlfriend have been talking about visiting her grandparents in Greensboro sometime soon. I'll talk with her and see when we would be around

Me and Angie should be able to make it...any Saturday will work for us in January..except the first weekend...as im sure most wont be either...

Let me toss these 3 Saturdays out there, January 12, 19, or 26 . I want to have some time to get a reservation arranged but I also want to allow for everyone to chime in who wants to be a part of this. I am thinking the 19 or 26 may work out best with the 19 being the target date at the present time. Just throwing my thoughts out there. I am going to give this thread about a week to see where we go on the date.

Will a 2-3pm meeting time work for everyone with 3pm being the actual reservation time? I certainly need to know how everyone feels on this.

Good job stepping up to get this organized. I'd like to come up but it's looking doubtful. I'll know better closer. My suggestion is pick a date now that most people are commuting to and stick to it. Maybe my cards will change!

uh, yeah, the avatar needs to shrink because it is causing a page loading issue on my end. As a forum moderator I highly recommend shrinking it or it may get removed.

As far as the meet, I am leaning towards the 19th. Darrel, I would really like to have you there if you can work this into your schedule but if not no worries bro.

I plan to get an attendance list started and will most likely call for a reservation by the end of next week.
