Is there anything I need to know about Hurricane Creek?

I am heading out there one day this week. I have never been there before and was curious if there is anything I need to know about it? I know it is mild wheeling. Are there certain spots I need to make sure we see?

The whole trail is nice. I would make sure that you trun left when you will crest a hill then it sorta turns left and down to a super small creek that follows the trail, and is on the trail very little creek though not like all the crossings. What day will you be going and what time? Let me know. Imperial at fj lives up the road not too far, and may wanna go as well.

The whole trail is rocky so if you can air down your ride will be drastically more comfortable. Last time we went out I ran 15lbs and had a smooth ride, and even eased up the hardest areas that gave me trouble in the past. Aired down you could do almost, or maybe the whole trail in 2wd.

I looks like we will be out there on Tuesday. Probably hit the trail by 10 a.m. Anyone is welcome to join us. I will have the whole family with me.

Awe man I gotta work 8-5 ish. You guys will have a great time it is really a beautiful trail, part of the country. Make sure at the end of the trail you will head up past max patch. It is a huge bald on your right with a cattle fence area at the bottom. Hike to the top pretty cool super windy up there. Only takes about 10-15 m inutes to hike up there.

I will have the wives and infants. So no hiking. I think we are going to head the other way. We want to go to cataloochee valley afterwards. We should take some pictures.

Hot springs is also in the same area very nice spot to eat and grab a beer. How old are your infants?

So brian you posted no hiking bc I have the wives, and the infants. That sounds special. Post up any pics you get.

I've seen brian's kids. Not old enough to drink yet. Although up in the mountains by Tennessee, there might be different rules....

No grab a beer for him and the wives. The kids if not too young may enjoy the hike to the top of max patch.

By wives, I meant mine and my brothers. Had a blast on the trail. I will definitely be going back. We got lost a few times. There were more trails than hi had thought. My brothers gps helped us out though. Definitely want to go back with someone having more experience.

My kids are 2yrs and 6 months. I wasn't going to take the littlest one, but got into a fight with my mother and wasn't leaving Hume with her. We wrapped his head well and he slept through it. Besides he has a little wheelin helmet.

Brian, that is one place Carl, Doug, and myself have been going at least once a year. Haven't been there this year but I highly recommend a winter snow run there. The 3 of us wanted to do that this past winter but it never came to be. Going there in the fall is also very nice. Maybe we can get something going this fall.

Yeah I will definitely go back. Its right next to Cataloochee valley which the little ones love! We will probably start camping up that way at least one weekend a year. I would love to go in the fall to see the leaves and hear the elk call each other.
