I like it a lot. I bet you could paint over the texture with whatever you want to use instead of buying and adding more texture.

Yeah, I think some dark grey rattle can work would do the trick. In fact, most that have seen it think it looks good as is, I may let it ride for a while and see if it "grows" on me!

Once I got my loaded up, there was not taking it back out to "touch-up". It is holding up fine even with the scratches from the dog hopping up into the back.

Nice to meet you as well...plasti-dip hood looks good...when we did my son's ranger, we did not know abou the quick removal of the tape, so we ended up CAREFULLY cutting around the edge of the tape with an exacto blade and that made a clean line. I read somewhere that if you use a few layers of tape and peel each off as you add layers of plasti-dip it works well also.

Look forward to seeing the storage box when you work on it.
