it wouldnt be part of this program...... but i thi nk we should addopt a trail at URE or something like that....

I completely agree. I would really like to see us evolve into an "official trail conscience" group. Once we are TL members, we can look into adopt a trail as well.

I did have a thought when I posted this question but I am now drawing a complete blank.
I am thinking that my thought was to get our group out there in a way that when people hear the name NCFJcruisers they associate that name with all things great in the world of off roading. Not quite sure where to go with that but there it is.

I agree Jami. Once we partner with Tread Lightly, We can look at trail adoption, clean updays, etc....

Ok, here is the prize "package" that one member will win once we officially become a Tread Lightly official Partner Club. I will hold a drawing, with the names of those NCFJ Cruisers members who participated in and paid for our club membership into Tread Lightly. Once we are paid up, I will then hold the drawing. I will be putting a deadline on inclusion into this offer soon, so please let me know if you would like to participate. The more volunteers we have the lower the individual contribution. Ok, so here it is, the little thank you I have gathered for one lucky member, yet to be determined....

Package includes the following:

1. An original Toyota Trail Teams event give-a-way item. It is a Trail Teams map holder - Canvas on on side and clear plastic on the other.

2. An original, near mint, Issue 1, Spring 2006 Toyota FJ Cruiser sales brochure/magazine

3. A toyota Trail Teams sticker (like the one in the photo below)

4. A one of a kind NCFJ Cruisers rubber keychain (see pic)

It will be based on the final total number of people that are willing to participate. Total for the club is $250.00

Not sure if PayPal changed their fees, but I made a"gift " payment the other day & still got hit with a fee. I had the choice of paying the fee myself or letting the recipient pay it. The fee was apprx 3%.
