| I want to put a Flowmaster on my FJ. I have been reading page after page in the BR and am more confused than before I started. I know a few folks have added these. I am pretty sure I want the 40 series, maybe the delta 40. If I go to my muffler shop, what part number do I tell him I want or will he know what to install (I assume he will since this is his business). I have seen several part numbers floating around...942441, 42441, etc.
I thought I would do the research and not bug everyone, but my head is spinning.
I like loud but no annoying...love the drone sound. | |

| I have heard the 40 series on the 4.0 before, it is pretty loud. It would bother me. Maybe look at some of the Borla products, they are some of my favorite mufflers, they cost a bit more, but sound so much better | |

| Borla has a very pure sound, but I prefer the 40 series' grumble. Had it on my last truck, just waiting to mark it off my list for the FJ | |
