Mike, question pertaining to your bumper design in general....what are you doing for the windshield washer bottle? I know when mounting a tube bumper on the 2010+, this has been an issue that people have had to deal with and I was wondering what you came up with, if anything? I am looking towards your expertise...

Good question David. So far i honestly havent done anything due to the fact that i have been more worried about the axle. I have several choices:

1. paint it black and ignore it...
2. take it off and not replace it..
3. replace it with a newer model year bottle
4. buy the expedition one bottle for over $250
5. buy a universal bottle

at this point my thought is to go with the newer model year bottle...they wont fit because of the newer style air intake but it wont be hard to come up with a new mount. I will make sure that whatever i do and whenever i do tackle this job that i will make a big deal out of it...lol...

the reason i am going to go with the "newer" model year is simple actually...it has TWO pump and hose connections...one for the front windshield and one for he back window..all model year FJs have this for the most part...id say 99% do....the hardest part will be fabbing up a mount for it...plumbing it will not be a problem..

Sorry I ha ve not replied sooner. I forgot about this offer to sell your prototype. I would really like to try it out, but a few other things have come up that I must take care of first. I agree with Brian, who ever likes it and can make the purchase let them have it. No hard feelings here either. I do appriciate that you have made this available for about what it probably cost you to make it.

Michael how much difference in weight is the short bumper compared to the normal one?

uhhh short bumper?? im assuming the difference in the winch bumper and NON WINCH bumper is what we're talking about?? and the difference between the two honestly, i have no idea..my guess would be 15-20 lbs?? no 1/4" plate and a little less tubing...so not really a whole lot...basically the difference is that..the front aluminum plate is more vertical than the winch bumper...
FJDerek has the "winch bumper" but no plate...BT has the non winch bumper....if that makes any sense...

I know Brian...its all good...but i had to actually think about what he meant by short bumper...and i can make you a really really long bumper casey...long and thin if you want ...or short and fat if you prefer!!
