Stock Fj should have no problem, 4 low, ATRAC, Rear Diff lock or there is by passes for obstacles. I ran my stock 4Runner for a couple seasons with no problems. Besides you will have some new goodies from the show, hopefully!

Sounds like we will have a good group to go with! Looking forward to it!

Anyone planning to try the new trail "Uwharrie's Edge"? There's a fee ($5), but looks like a nice scenic trail along the lake from what I've heard. Not sure of the difficulty level.

I would be down. I can't find much info about it, other than passes are available at the Outpost. They are supposed to have more info about it as well.

I didn't think it was opening until Fall. Is it open now? I would be open to try it for sure, although I do not know why it would cost an extra $5. This should be included with the year pass.

You are thinking of the little lake side path the USFS is going to create; two different things.

Uwharries Edge is private land someone has opened up and is supposed to create quite a few trails, and also have opportunities for hiking, boating, fishing Ect.

The cost now is $5, but it is anticipated to go up as the land develops. At opening weekend the Outpost was handing out fliers, and I believe last weekend was the first weekend they were open.
