Hell yeah...are you kidding me...i honestly just wouldnt mind seeing the Zuk that they built...it would also be great to see the Duece and a half that they did too...

Well I am packed up and ready to go camping. Its laughable how much crap we have to take. Minimalist camping it is not!. Heading out early tomorrow afternoon. Adrienne's parents maybe be backing out, which means there won't be much wheeling for me. I will probably just be in for the morning run and out around lunch.

Has anyone thought about what trails you'll run first? Anyone getting the pass for Uwharrie's Edge?

run em all...which ever ...it makes no difference...just run em all...and if there is time do it all over again...

I have heard that there is a huge pit of thick mud on the main trail at URE's Edge that will stop most vehicles. We will see about that.

But in terms of which trails, I guess we will play it by ear

I hate mud, but we will see. Seems like the people at the Outpost don't even know anything about URE's Edge which is weird.

Well if you guys can hold off and save Daniel for after lunch..... I should roll in right around 12, and want to at least hit Daniel with a group. Don't wanna do it alone.

But if there's a mudpit to go through for the Edge, I might pass. Can't stand mud.

So it looks like a few of us are gonna break away in the afternoon to hit up the more difficult trails? I know there are a few stock vehicles going, and Daniel is less than hospitable.

yeah could have some folks park thier stockers and ride with the others... ?? jsut a suggestion...maybe not a good one but all the same...

Not really, unless it's changed........we use to sneak back there when I was in High School and play around, nothing special, just a tank trap looking area, played all back there in a 98 tacoma with 35's and no lockers with no problems......but this was 7-8 years ago....

we got a stockish FJ up it last time, had a leveling kit, 285's, and armor without slipping a tire....

Well the owner even said it was nasty, he is filling it in with quartz boulders

it is mud....but it isn't that bad......

Not sure where we should start. We usually go in at Wolfs Den-Falls Dam- Dickey Bell-Rockey Mountain Loop up to Kodak Rock. If someone wants to lead then I will follow. I will let you guys decide though.

When we went out last we did a good run. RockyMount, to Slab Pile, then Dutch John I think. Took like 3 hours

personally i would like a long slow run...no need to rush any of it...have fun and enjoy the day...

I agree, slow and low is the way to go.
