| If your antenna is less than 4ft and you are only trying to get out a mile or less then you will be fine with no tuning.
As to where to have one tuned hit up any truck stop and ask the guy at the counter. | |

| My antenna is 4' + spring & quick disconnect. I know of one truck garage in Asheboro I will see if they can do it or know who can. Thanks | |

| Yeah, I've got an SWR meter I can bring with me. I'll only be there on the 14th, but I'll throw it in the back of the truck and try to catch up with you early if possible. We could probably tune you up in the morning before making any runs so you can use your CB on the trails without worrying about cooking your radio. | |

| Speedrye, Thanks You. I'll be at the Outpost around 9am on the 14th. I got the firestick with adjustable tip, so from what I have heard it should be fairly quick & easy. | |

| I think that'll be fine. I'm running an adjustable tip as well and it's pretty quick. This is the first time I've been down to URE, but I'll find you around 9:00. | |
