It was nice meeting you guys today. Had a great time!

I had a good time as well. Thanks for showing me around for my first time out there! For all we did, I'm happy to only have broken a center cap (well, I broke the heck out of that one rock too) since I've never been out on rocks anywhere before. I'll try to get some pics up over the next day or three.

Anyone know if the last FJ we ran into is on this forum?

Awesome, I thought it was odd to run into another FJ considering there was no one else on the trails really.

man i wish i had been there...i realy wish i had been there...i wanna see pics...did you see the ROCK that killed my knuckle??

Chad said it was coming up soon, but I don't know which one it was. I know that's not the rock I smashed with my transfer case crossmember though, sorry... I got revenge for you on another rock at least. Maybe they were related.

I just thought it was amazing how many pieces of that rock i pulled out of the ground after you finished with it.

Yeah, I really have no idea how big it was before I started with it. I know there were lots and lots of fist sized pieces and smaller when I was done though. Thanks for your help getting me off of that thing.

oh yeah and where are the pictures... I didnt offer the photog a ride for no pics.

The pics are coming. We took almost 300 pics with about 80 being duplicates, a little editing & I will post some here & the rest will have a link to photobucket. For some reason Kim's laptop & photobucket aren't communicating very well. I am working on it & well post asap.

We had a great time & it was awesome watching grind that rock.

So you guys ran Daniels? I have wanted to do that trail but it always seemed to be the "anything but Daniels" days that I was there. Was it all it is made out to be or did everyone just "cruise" right up? I know the first ledge use to be quite difficult.

We ran the half of it and made a very challenging 5-car U-turn (we did the half that we could actually fit through without breaking windows and body panels)

Even then, it was certainly one of the most difficult areas of the whole trail system I thought.

Daniel was a good chellange but even my stock FJ made it up the first ledge without much effort. I then climbed the hill through the easiest path I could find. The 5 pt turn was interesting. I think that climb was easier back up than going down.

I love that in all the pictures, there's Joe's TT and then in about three pictures, it's gone and there's a green FJ there as a replacement.

I am really disappointed with my tires... at 8 psi they still don't flex like i would like. I'm yelled to get a set of bias ly tires for my next set

ok so next time out im running 5psi and if the tires still dont bulge I'm going with a bias ply... mark my words. I went through all the pics of my 4runner and the tire barely flexed at all.

wow brian...those sliders look awesome on that truck...did you "USE" them on this trip??
