Ok, First off I would like to say that having our own forum is pretty awesome. Thanks to the admins for providing it.
So I've only been using the forums for a few minutes now. And just skimming through I have a couple suggestions. Hopefully you guys don't hate me after.
1. I think that since this is a local forum, we probably won't get as many members and frequent posters as say the big blue room. (I hope that we do though, more FJ's the better). That said, I think the forum page is a little too long.
I would suggest making all the product review threads into one sub forum. So instead of having reviews for skid plates, tires, and suspension. Maybe just have one big Review section. And people can use it the same way, just put what they are reviewing in the title.
Also, The News room. Maybe just have one big subforum titled News or General Discussion. As long as it's toyota related it should all be relevant.

2. I think its awesome we have a "How To" thread. I got many ideas from our meet that I've never even seen on the blue forum. To expand on that, I think it would be cool to see a "Build thread" In the same 'Garage' subforum. Seeing the progress of our local FJ brethren is always fun.

3. This is more of a personal thing. But I think having the most posted in subforums closer to the top would be more convienant for people with mobile phones and small monitors. Like trail discussion could be moved a little lower. But I would put the "Garage" Under events.

4. Last, I know the forum is fresh and brand spanking new. So I'm sure everything is WIP. I just noticed that the banner stands out a bit from the black/grey/yellow theme of the forum. I think a integrated banner would be nice. If you need help with this maybe I could design something this weekend.
Ok I'll stop. Of course you can ignore my suggestions, no problem with that. I was just thinking of ways of making navigation more seamless and better for everyone.
