Krawl's Build "The Raven"

So, considering I'm a broke beer salesman with two kids under two and wifey is a stay-at-home mom, this is going to be painfully slow.  So here goes...



This is about a week after I bought it in December 2010, several factory upgrades, but nothing to really write home about.

The only "special" feature, the good ol' manual transmission.  I hunted this truck down for about eight months.  Had I bought an automatic, my wife would be driving it with the kids and I'd be stuck with her mustang.

My first "mod" was the APC turn signals.  They're pretend LED, just clear plastic tubes with a yellow bulb behind them.  My parents had given me a $50 Amazon gift card for my birthday and Amazon had the turn signals on sale for $49.99 so it was like it was meant to be, haha.

Naturally go to work on anything this summer and the rain decides to roll in...

Rattle canned the grill, will probably go back and do the rest of the silver and do the whole "black-out" thing.



Grill reinstalled, 8 bolts and brush guard.  Now I just need to get wire and a switch and hook up the Hellas.

I wouldnt have known they were not leds if you hadnt said anything...I like it.  Slow progress is still progress..keep it up man

I actually think it's better to save the money and avoid the LED turn signals.  Who needs their turn signals to be LED?  That's just pointless!  @ $50 for this set, I might have to jump on board as well!

Nice start I also like the lights and the brush guard looks good!

Thanks, guys!  I've got a Toytec 3" lift still sitting in the box at the bottom of the stairs.  Just haven't found the time to install it.

Lookin' good...but how can a beer salesman be broke with the current administration?  I get home and cant wait to drink away the latest absurdity to hit the lame stream media!

True story, Paul.  Although given the state's true unemployment (not how many people are receiving benefits) people are buying less and cheaper beer.  Couple that with the craptastic weather we've had this year, people are drinking more at restaurants than in their backyards.

 So we need to sell cheap beer!  Seriously, hope it picks up for you....as it is, I'm feeling the pain of Sequestration like you wouldn't believe.
