| I have a brand new in the box Koolatron cooler that plugs into a cig lighter plug. I bought one and they sent me two so now I'm going to sell one. I'd say it works decent, better the more you put in it, but overall not bad. The manual says it will cool somewhere around 40 below the outside air temp. It does well enough that I would count on it to keep stuff cool in the truck over a camping trip.

| Does it have an AC connection also? Or just the cigarette plug?

| Just the cig plug, the outlet connection is optional. | |

Here's a link to a random one for sale online. It is brand new in the box, but I could take a pic of the one in the back of my truck tomorrow if you want. | |

| No I haven't. I don't have a thermometer, and there haven't been any hot days since I bought it. I left it in the back of my truck on a 75 degree day with some food and drinks while I was diving and everything was the same temp as when I put it in when I came back to it about an hour later (the stuff came out of my fridge so it was fridge temp when I put in there). | |

| And drive time of about an hour...that's the biggest test I've given it, but it seems to do pretty well. I've taken to throwing my lunch in there too if I want to keep cold and I'm away from the house. | |

| Hey Jeremy, I think it might be an impulse buy for me, but I'll buy it if you will take $70. For my purpose I would need to get the AC adapter. With this I will be invested at $100 which is as much as I want to put into it.
If the $70 isn't enough it won't heart my feelings at all. |
