| I thought I would go ahead and start a thread on my FJ. My Wife and Daughter have named it Sunny and its kind of stuck. I picked up my '07 FJ on June 24th of this year. Hopefully people don't die of old age between updates as this will most likely be a somewhat slow build. Mods so far. Ricochet Roof Rack Airdam TG rock sliders(thanks for the great deal Jami). I will prob either add some kick outs to these down the road or replace them. But, for the deal Jami gave me on them I couldn't pass them up. Window Deflectors, some gun and USMC amtrac stickers FJ has some sort of slight lift. I know it has a spacer at the top, but I am not sure if these springs are stock or not. I know the shocks are stock. I plan on blacking everything out, already have the paint just need some time off. As far as parts go I plan on replacing the rear upper and lower contol arms next and then start on some armor. I will update as I have time and money for mods. | |

| Good to see those sliders back in use Shawn! No doubt I will be missing my FJ for many years to come. Still enjoying the Rubicon that's for sure. | |

| @J.Dorton: not yet. I am just now rotating back to having weekends off,and I lost my week day trail partner.
@Jami: I hope to put them to good use. I love the 4 door wranglers. Before I discovered the FJ its what I wanted to buy. | |

| Hit me up if you want to go some weekend. I'm off every other, and will soon only have to work every third. Let me know if you need a hand wrenching too.

| Great looking FJ! Jami is good at taking care of folks, glad you got a great deal on sliders from him. My wheels are off Jami's FJ! We're all going to have a piece of Jami's FJ running around...kinda like a donor card carrier ;-) | |

| So I have had my FJ for a little over a year now. When I purchased my FJ I knew I wanted to attend a Summit. I saved as much as I could for modifications while also putting money away for our trip. In May I decided it was time to get busy preparing the truck for our vacation out west. Everything was done with a tight budget in mind. First was wheels and tires. I found some Tacoma steel wheels on Craigslist for $75. I used some Rustoleum 7777 satin black to paint them. After doing a bit of research and talking with a few people I decided on Hankook DynaPro MT03 tires in 295/75r16. Next was a lift. I did a lot of reading and looking around, but it was my conversations with Steve Springs from SouthEast Overland that helped me make up my mind. In the end, I went with the Metal Tech long travel rear set up, OME front lift with light springs, and lite racing UCA's. Some UPS loving. Since we would be doing Moab, more specifically camping in White Rim Pass, I wanted to have some lighting. I had already purchased a light bar from Jami Stanley so I put it to use with 2 KC daylighter Spot lights(middle), and 2 KC daylighter Floods(outer). Same lights in picture above. Thanks to Justin Dorton I also installed 2 6" LED side lights. A couple of pics from the install. Big thanks to Justin Dorton and his Dad for helping me out with the wiring. and the final product Since I had recently acquired my HAM radio license, a new radio was installed. I also added a Midland CB, Cell phone mount, painted mirrors and door handles plus a few other odds and ends. I will try to get pictures of those and post them up soon. Final product, on top of imogene pass.
