| Hey guys, I'm going to Black Mountain with my girlfriend in a few weeks and was curious if anybody had recommendations for a place to camp for one night. Also curious if there is a swimming hole in the area you can drive down to. The GF broke her ankle 4 months ago so hiking isn't really an option yet. | |

| Here is a link to carolina hemlock campground north of asheville but has a sweet 14 foot deep clear ice cold swim hole in campground. Super nice camping there, and above there about 4 miles up route 80 above the golf course there is also black mountain campground. Then the parkway is only about another 2 miles up which is then only about 30 miles south to asheville.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SS7y_IcKOU
