| 450 for all 5, the spare hasnt touched the ground.
the rest have 30-40% tread and are worn evenly.

| i know bobby is trying to see if 35s will fit...im not so sure without a lot of "massaging" the front bumper and and the fenders...im not so sure he will be able to get 35s in there and be able to wheel without trouble... | |

| wont happen without chopping the boddy mount all the way back, gettting wheels with a wider offset, cutting out the front fender liner, trimming the front and back of the fender well, and bracing the spindle. And depending on the size 35 you also need a 2" bl due to the shape of the 4runner fender well.
Then you go to the back and you have to loose the mud flaps, cut the inner fender liner, move the gas filler neck, get longer links for the suspension and get some bumpstops.

| thats the reason i stuck with the 255/75/17
285/70/17 requires a lot of body mount chopping and wheel spacers

| the front is the easy part... its just a fender... the rear is rediculous because the door is part of the fender well so you have to cut the back and get adjustable links and move the whole rear axle backward to make it work. | |

the rest have 30-40% tread and are worn evenly. Thanks for the offer Chad. That sounds a little high though for what it is. I will think about it though. Really wanting to fit a 34" but funds are low now

| I don't think a 34" tire is gonna be possible without a body lift. | |

On the early 4th gens the fenders are actually smaller front/rear. Under full stuff it will take some work with to fit a 34" plus size tires, as mentioned adjustable lower links pushing the rear back about 3/4" will help for sure, also dropping the rear bump stops. I think it is feasable though Right now I have about 4" front lift and 3" rear lift and I am considering adding a 1.5" rear spacer to the 3" coils to pull the rear up to 4.5". I might need an adjustable panrod bar and adjustable rear swaybar links too! I guess it never stops once you start

| I think 34s are gonna be the max for you Bobby...great size tire...i think honestly the 285/75 17 like i have are what will work best...they fit when we tried them..maybe a slight working of the front fender/bumper but i think all will be fine...sometimes bigger is not better...
AND no it never stops once you get started...you have opened a pandoras box if you will..

| I have seen several folks run 35's on 4th gens but it is allot of work, trimming, spacers, body mount chop, regear, excedra excedra, Thinking a nice 295/70R17 or the 285/75R17 will work for my current needs as this is my DD | |

| I am not scared of trimming, bumper skins, fender liners. It's the rear doors that Chad has me concerned about, but heavy duty lower links are needed anyway, might as well get adjustable ones, right! I have actual trimmed some already in preparation. Next Body Mount chop probably trim some more, fit, trim some more, fit, a 33" is going to look small on my truck now. Sorry to clutter up your thread let's get back on topic here. | |
