Hurricane Creek is awesome guys! Not rock crawling like Uwharrie, but still a really rocky trail in sections. MUCH tougher than Brown Mountain, but you can do it stock.

Oh, and YOU WILL get pinstriping at Hurricane Creek. But it's a beautiful place. One of my favorites.

Yeah it was really nice. But like someone said before me prepare to get some pinstriping.

I will definitely be there. Hurricane is a ton of fun and great scenery. What time is the meet up sat morning? Would any Asheville area peeps wanna meet up at the hardees on smoky park why right off 40? I'm stoked to go wheeling. We should all run hot springs 422 a trail some time as well.

im going up friday night and will be in the valley early .where is hot springs 422 , im gonna try and make a trip a month over the summer.

Hotsprings is about 25 miles north west of asheville. It is a high country trail located above hotsprings nc. Awesome group camping for free and a cliff jumping spot. Great camping swimming and wheeling totally legal. Oh yeah a fire tower at the top of the trail with views over the tenessee valley and nc. I will be going to hurricane creek next saturday. Any one who wants to meet up on smoky park highway at the hardees by 40 I will meet u there before the ride. You call or pm me any time specifics yet?

I was planning on stopping at the rest stop right before Hurricane Creek to wait for some people from TW. It is less than a mile away and plenty of parking.

It is about a mile before the exit (although it really isn't an exit, just a random road that is kinda hard to see lol)

So where and when is the rally before the ride? I can't seem to an accurate agreed on answer. How many people are planning on coming? Is every one gonna meet up at the rest area, or at the end of 19/23/patton/smoky park hwy. There is a hardees and a couple gas stations, crackel barrel etc right off of i-40 The hardees has breakfast biscuits mmm

The trail is super easy to blow past on the hwy. I've missed it before, and it took about 35 -45minutes to exit ride back to the previous exit and turn around and come back total nightmare. I would be down to meet anywhere just lemme know and lets get a count.
