| Yes but that part of the trail is totally optional. I did not go throught the holes. The trail is easily done by any stock 4x4 with a little finesse. A fj has 0 problems on this trail unless you choose to go up the hills or in the holes. | |

| Is yours by chance the black one pulling out the blue one? if so, Im in the middle of deciding between the Toyota predator bars or the Orange Boxx sliders. If it is yours have you ever had any need to have sliders on trails like that or have you always had plenty of ground clearance with the factoery step bars? Im more of a "find a back road" kind of wheeler | |

| the predator steps are fine...but dont expect much ground clearance with them...the steps themselves are about 3" lower than the main bar...sliders are meant to be beaten on..they are there to do nothing but protect the rockers and doors..a good solid hit on one of those steps on the Predator steps could actually knock it off...they are very thin walled...i havent actually seen it done but im guessing that it has...if i were you i would go with "real" sliders...you will be much happier in the long run... | |

| Yeah thats what i figured would be best, go ahead and do it right the first time. we have a 4 month old so the wife is wanting something that can be used as a "step" to so I think the orange boxx ones will stick out far enought to take care of that too | |

| a good set of sliders will save your butt (rockers, doors other parts)...the good thing about the FJ is they are bolt on...so if in the unlikely event that you bend a slider you can take it off pretty easily...i built mine and you can ask anybody who has wheeled with me how important they are...i have bashed, beaten, smashed, scraped all but destroyed them ...still hanging in there strong as ever...its the one thing on my truck i wouldnt give up!! | |

| Yeah I have the predators, they bend real easy I usually bend mine back down after wheeling. They have saved me, but they are badly dented and bent upwards. I am actually ordering obfd sliders monday night. | |
