2010 Trail Teams in Wilmington

Saw a really nice trail rig today in Wilmington... I'm pretty sure it was a 2010 TT lifted, black aftermarket wheels, aftermarket roof rack with lines running from the roof rack to the front bumper (maybe a roof tent?). I wished I would have gotten a picture and even better been able to turn around to catch up with but I was on the way to a meeting with no time to spare. I think I've seen it before so I'll be on the look out!

Appears to be a Toytec Lift
It's on 285/75/16 BFG Mud Terrains
It had a Summit #5 Badge on the Grill (so you might have seen it before David B.)
The hood appeared to be Plastidiped in the front with hood pins.
Baja Roof Rack
Snorkel
And if I'm correct by the last photo it doesn't have a body mount chop

We need to get this guy in the group! I have so many questions!

Well one thing is he needs to clean his car.

he has all my information and all of rolando's information. it's totally up to him at this point.

Yes, no body mount chop and it doesn't look like I see rubbing from these tires mounted on the TT rims.

And I would have remembered seeing this rig at the Summit, but I didn't. Maybe he was there and I missed him...

Defintately a NICE rig and he definately needs to join the crew. I really like the plasti-dip front edge of the hood...just might have to borrow that!

You are correct sir! He does not look like he has the chop. And I do not see any rubbing. I really would like to talk to him. I hope he joins.

hey just found my fj on this forum i have been looking for a local club when i was at the summit the guy from max trax gave me the info on you guys club. i finally got around to cleaning my truck and found your guys club card, Better late then never anyway if u see the truck in the parking lot i work at GNC come on in and chat. thanks for all the comments. And would love to go do some wheeling have not been since i moved from az in jan

How did I miss you at the Summit last year??? I assume you spoke with Ben from Maxtrax? He and the entire MaxTrax crew are AWESOME!!!! I got to hang with them last year at the Summit! great people!





Make sure you seek out Paul Ward - NCFJ Cruisers forum name: paulwardinc, he is our Eastern NC contact/moderator and he lived in Wilmington (he is the one that snapped the pic of your rig ) Wish you could have joined us at the spinge meet and greet here in Raleigh...but glad you finally got around to joining us!

we took it easy at the summit we did engineers pass and cant remember the other but they were both just awsome so many great pics

Well, sorry we missed each other...I was looking for other NC plates. Met with Jerry from ONSC, he had the really built sunfusion with matching expedition trailer, incase you saw him...He has since sold his rig...I wish I could go back this year, but I have to wait a few and then hopefully take the wife and son (he was only 5 last year and would not have enjoyed it, not to mention the wife HATES heights and "shaky travel"....LOL)
